...me!
There's a blog award thingie doing the rounds right now, and Jocke at Miniatyrmannen nominated me! Thanks! Apparently the award is a nice way of saying "I like your blog" and perhaps tip some other readers off about it. Having been awarded "the Liebster", I have to do the following:
So, which are my choices for the Liebster award? Find out after the break:
First up is Paul at PlasticWarriors. His blog is mainly concerned with the rescuing, ressurection and converting of old plastic 1/72 scale models gotten off eBay or found in a garage sale or similar. Lots of very characterful kits that anyone modelling during the 70's and 80's will recognise. Paul is a wargamer, so he doesn't claim to be a master modeller. Instead he focuses on getting these old relics back into battle as soon as possible. A good inspiration for all of us, I think.
Next up is Thanos at the Miniatures & Terrain blog. He's from Greece and a wargamer, and is doing some very nice terrain for gaming WW2 in 20mm. Of course he also paints figures and build models too, but it's really his nice french village setup that catches my eye.
Third on my list is CJR at TwoThreeSixMM. The name simply lists the scales he games in, namely 2, 3 and 6mm scale! Inspiring with lots of tips for gaming in these smaller scales. Great if you don't have much room.
Next is fellow Swede Jonathan at My Tiny Things. He's mainly a modeller and has lots of good photos of his projects, both WIP and finished. But he's also a wargamer and has done some awesome work on the new Dropzone Commander figures.
Let's see... one more. Last but not least we have the Winter of '79 blog. Mark is modelling and gaming skirmish battles in cold war britain in 1979, complete with made-up newspaper headlines that retell the story. Apparently there's a punk revolution going on... Mark also games various other eras and scales, as there is no such thing as a well-focused wargamer.
All good blogs, go check them out. And keep up the good work, guys!

- Copy and paste the award on your blog linking it to the blogger who has given it to you.
- Pass the award to your top 5 favourite blogs with less than 200 followers by leaving a comment on one of their posts to notify them that they have won the award and listing them on your own blog.
- Sit back and bask in that warm fuzzy feeling that comes with knowing that you have just made someone's day!
- There is no obligation to pass this on to anyone else but it is nice if you do.
